Indian bettors mostly want deep cricket markets, rupee payments that work on a phone, and quick withdrawals. We score every site on those points, plus licensing, bonus terms and support.
All ten sites below are offshore companies with no Indian licence, because India does not license online betting. Read the legal section below first.
| Details | |
|---|---|
| Popular betting features | Live in-play betting, cash out, session and over-by-over cricket markets |
| Popular sports | Cricket (IPL and internationals), kabaddi, football, tennis |
| Keep in mind | Online money games are banned nationwide; see the short legal note below |
| Odds format | Decimal, with fractional and American usually available in settings |
| Advantages | Rupee accounts, low minimum deposits, very deep cricket coverage |
| Disadvantages | No Indian licence or regulator, 30% tax on winnings, frequent payment failures |
The right site depends on what you bet on and how you pay. These four steps avoid most of the problems we see in reader complaints.
Start with our reviews. Each one covers the licence, the cashier, bonus terms and real payout experience, and our scoring method is explained on how we review.
Shortlist two or three sites and compare the odds on the matches you actually bet on, the minimum deposit for your payment method and the wagering on any bonus.
Deposit the minimum first. Check that the payment credits quickly, that the payee name matches what the cashier told you.
Complete identity checks early and request a small withdrawal before you bet larger amounts. A site that pays a small amount quickly is a better sign than any promotion.
Google Play does not list real-money betting apps in India, so most bookmaker apps are Android APK files downloaded from the operator's own site. Only ever download from the official domain.
The 1xBet app carries the full desktop product, including live streaming and cash out, in a dense layout that suits experienced bettors.
Mostbet designs its product around phones, with quick registration and a cashier localised for India.
4rabet's app is light enough for older phones and puts cricket at the top of the sportsbook.
Online real-money betting has been banned in India since 1 May 2026 under the Online Gaming Act, 2025, and none of the sites we review holds an Indian licence. Check the current rules before you bet.
General information, not legal advice. Laws change, so check the current rules where you live.
Most of the sites we review let you choose INR at registration, so deposits, bets and withdrawals stay in rupees. 4rabet holds balances in rupees by default, and Mostbet, Melbet, 1win, 1xBet, 22Bet, Dafabet and Pin-Up all offer rupee accounts with UPI deposits. Stake and BC.Game are built around crypto and offer INR only through third-party payment partners, so rupees are often converted to crypto first.
UPI is the default way Indians pay online, and bookmakers serving India put it first in the cashier, often as a QR code you pay with Paytm, PhonePe or Google Pay. Because the 2025 Act bars payment providers from processing online money games, offshore sites collect UPI payments through third-party agents, and routes can stop working without notice.
4rabet is the most UPI-focused site on our list, with Paytm, PhonePe and Google Pay in a rupee cashier and low minimums. Whichever site you use, pay only the QR code shown in the cashier and keep the UTR reference in case a deposit goes missing.
Payments are the weakest link for Indian bettors in 2026. Any method below can fail when banks block gambling transactions. The full comparison is on our payments hub.
UPI, Paytm and PhonePe are instant and cheap when they work.
USDT and Bitcoin are accepted by all ten sites and do not depend on Indian banks. Crypto gains carry their own 30% tax and 1% TDS on transfers, and scams are common.
Skrill and Neteller work at six of our sites, but loading fees apply and some bonuses exclude them.
Most Indian banks decline Visa and Mastercard payments to betting sites. Repeated IMPS transfers to unknown accounts can trigger a bank review.
| Payment method | Deposit speed | Withdrawal speed | Typical min. deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| UPI (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay) | Instant | 1-24 hours | About ₹100-₹400 |
| IMPS / net banking | Minutes to hours | 1-2 days | Varies |
| USDT | Minutes | Minutes to hours | About $1-$10 in USDT |
| Bitcoin | 10-60 minutes | Minutes to hours | Varies |
| Skrill / Neteller | Instant | Within 24 hours | About $1 equivalent |
| Visa / Mastercard | Instant | 1-7 business days | Varies |
Horse racing has the longest betting tradition in India, with racecourses in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and other cities. Cricket became the main focus of betting interest as the game grew into a national obsession after the 1983 World Cup win.
The Indian Premier League, launched in 2008, and fast UPI payments from 2016 made following and betting on cricket online part of everyday life.
