4rabet launched in 2018 and was built specifically for Indian bettors: the site is available in Hindi and English, balances are held in rupees, cricket sits at the top of the sportsbook, and the cashier is organised around UPI, Paytm, PhonePe and other local methods. It has since expanded to Bangladesh, where it offers taka accounts with bKash and Nagad, and to a handful of other markets. Alongside the sportsbook there is a large casino with slots, live dealer tables and crash games such as Aviator and JetX.

Ownership is less transparent than it should be. Most reviews name Umbrella Development B.V. as the operator, but other sources attribute the brand to New Entertainment Development N.V., Santeda International B.V. or Mercuryo Holdings N.V., which suggests the operating entity has changed over time or differs by market. The licence most often cited is a Curaçao eGaming sublicence under Antillephone N.V. (8048/JAZ). Curaçao has since moved to a new licensing regime run by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, and we could not independently confirm 4rabet's current status on the new register.

4rabet is one of the most heavily marketed offshore betting brands in India. In its half-yearly report for April to September 2025, the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) listed 4rabet second only to Stake among the brands behind the illegal betting advertisements it escalated to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. That marketing has continued despite India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025, which bans real-money online gaming and its promotion.

The product itself is straightforward and mobile-friendly. Cricket coverage is strong, with IPL, international, domestic and T20 league markets, and the site also covers football, tennis, kabaddi, basketball, table tennis and esports. The trade-offs are an offshore regulator with limited player protection, bonus terms that are more restrictive than the headline suggests, and a large volume of public complaints about deposits not being credited and withdrawals left pending.

Reviews commonly cite withdrawal processing of up to 24 hours for UPI, IMPS and Paytm, one to three business days for net banking, and under an hour for crypto, with a minimum withdrawal reported at around ₹1,000 for some methods. These figures come from third-party reviews rather than a published guarantee, and actual times vary.

Payments are also the main source of complaints. On Trustpilot and similar sites, players frequently report UPI deposits debited from their bank but not credited to their account, and withdrawals marked as processed that take days or weeks to arrive. Some of this reflects the fragile, frequently changing payment channels that offshore sites rely on in India, especially since the 2025 law barred banks and payment systems from processing real-money gaming transactions. KYC with ID and proof of address is required before withdrawals. Keep transaction IDs and screenshots for every payment, and avoid depositing more than you can afford to have delayed.
