The bookmakers below accept registrations from Nepal, based on each operator's own list of restricted countries. All of them are offshore: most hold a Curaçao licence, BC.Game is licensed in Anjouan and Dafabet relies mainly on Philippine licensing. None is licensed in Nepal, and all betting sites are now subject to the government's 2026 blocking order.
We rank them on odds, payments, safety, apps, bonuses and support. Our job is to describe each site honestly so you can judge the risks yourself, not to encourage betting where the law forbids it.
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Popular betting features | Live betting, cash out, cricket player markets, mobile apps |
| Popular sports | Cricket (Nepal team, IPL, NPL), football (European leagues) |
| Keep in mind | Betting is not legal for Nepali citizens; see the short legal note below |
| Odds format | Decimal is the default on most sites |
| Advantages | Deep cricket coverage, low minimum stakes, Android apps |
| Disadvantages | No local licence or complaint route |
No site we review is licensed in Nepal, so choosing one is about understanding risk as much as comparing odds. These steps help you judge an operator before you share any personal or payment details.
Each of our reviews explains who runs the site, which licence it holds, how it handles withdrawals and what players complain about. Our review method shows how we score them.
Look at what matters to you: cricket depth, live betting, app quality or payment methods. Check whether a site's bonus has fair wagering before you accept it.
If you open an account anywhere, start with the smallest amount the cashier allows and never stake money you cannot afford to lose. Remember that the law applies to players, not only operators.
A site is only as good as its payouts. Complete identity checks early, read the withdrawal rules and test the live chat before you rely on it.
1xBet's app packs in the full sportsbook, live betting and the localised cashier, and it has one of the deepest cricket offers of any bookmaker.
Mostbet's app is built around quick registration and cricket markets, with live betting and cash out on selected events.
Melbet's app mirrors its very large live menu, which suits bettors who follow matches in play.
Gambling is prohibited for Nepali citizens under the Muluki Criminal Code, 2017, and none of the sites we review holds a Nepali licence. Check the current rules before you bet.
General information, not legal advice. Laws change, so check the current rules where you live.
We could not confirm that any of our ten bookmakers offers an account held in Nepalese rupees. In practice, accounts from Nepal usually run in US dollars, euros or Indian rupees, and every deposit and withdrawal is converted.
eSewa and Khalti are Nepal's most used digital wallets, and both are supervised by Nepal Rastra Bank. None of our reviewed bookmakers lists them as an official, direct cashier option. Offshore betting in Nepal has instead run through agents who collect wallet transfers, and Nepali press reported in 2021 that Khalti suspended hundreds of accounts linked to 1xBet agents.
We do not recommend any site for eSewa or Khalti.
Nepal's foreign-exchange rules limit payments abroad, so few methods reach offshore sites cleanly. Here is how the main options compare, with the legal issues attached to each.
eSewa, Khalti and IME Pay dominate daily payments, but they do not connect directly to our reviewed bookmakers and betting-linked accounts are monitored.
Skrill and Neteller work at six of our ten sites, but funding them from Nepal is difficult because of exchange controls.
Nepali dollar cards have annual limits and banks often decline gambling payments. See our payments hub for how each method works in general.
| Payment method | Deposit speed | Withdrawal speed | Typical min. deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| eSewa / Khalti (via agents) | Varies | Varies | Varies |

| Bitcoin | After network confirmations | Minutes to hours | Varies by coin |

| Bank transfer | Up to 1 business day | 1 to 5 business days | Varies |
Card games around the Tihar festival are an old tradition in Nepal, and hotel casinos in Kathmandu have welcomed foreign visitors since the late 1960s.
Interest in sports betting grew with smartphones and with cricket, especially after Nepal gained ODI status in 2018 and the Nepal Premier League began in 2024.
